Albert News

thanks to the modernage.org, we know that Albert Hammond Jr. played an invite only show in NYC last night.

the album drops on tuesday, july 8, but you can listen to it on his myspace page.

i've had it for weeks thanks to dave sullivan (a fellow die-hard strokes fan)

i like this album much better than the first one.

Remember the Vines?

I was really into the Vines first album. When it was released they compared the lead singer, Craig Nicholls, to Kurt Cobain. That was kind of a stretch, but then the Rolling Stones expose about the Vines came out and we all found all that Craig was kind of a freak. LC and I were really got into the fact that Craig was basically a stoner with special needs.


So, anyway, the Vines have a new album coming out and here is the first single and video from the album, Melodia.



But I still prefer the first single. I LOVE all of that screaming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
